Privacy Policy

Who we are

Native State is the practice of Nikola, a Feldenkrais practitioner and somatic coach based in Belgrade, Serbia. In this document “I”, “we” and “us” mean Native State. You can reach me at office@nativestate.co.

What we collect

• Contact and booking forms: your name, email address and anything you choose to write, such as what brings you, your time zone or a phone number.
• Newsletter: your name and email address when you sign up to hear about new classes and programs.
• Orders: for courses, recordings and workshops, your name, email address and the details needed to confirm your payment.
• Sessions: information you choose to share about your body, health or wellbeing. It is used only to prepare for and guide our work together and is kept confidential.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting, security and analytics tools.

Why we use it

• To answer your messages and to arrange and deliver sessions, courses, recordings and workshops (to perform our agreement with you, or to take steps before one).
• To send the newsletter, only with your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising, only if you accept analytics and marketing cookies.
• To keep the website secure and free of spam (our legitimate interest).
• To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as payment records.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Services we use

• Website hosting and Cloudflare run and protect the website. They process technical data such as your IP address.
• Quform (a form plugin on our own website) stores form submissions, which are also sent to us by email.
• AWeber sends the newsletter.
• Google Analytics and Hotjar help us understand how visitors use the website.
• Meta Pixel measures the results of our Facebook and Instagram advertising.
• CookieYes manages your cookie choices.
• Zoom is used for online sessions and classes.
• WhatsApp and Instagram, if you contact us or join our groups there.
• Your bank or payment provider, when you pay for a session, course or recording.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. Some are based outside Serbia and the European Union, for example in the United States. Where that is the case, data is transferred with the safeguards the provider offers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

Essential cookies make the website work, for example to protect forms from spam and to remember your cookie choice. Analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Hotjar and Meta Pixel) are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings button on the website, or delete cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

• Messages and enquiries: up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
• Client information: for as long as we work together, and then only what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: according to each tool’s retention settings, for Google Analytics 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, write to office@nativestate.co. We will reply within 30 days.

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in Serbia, or to the data protection authority in your country. We would be grateful if you contacted us first, so we can try to fix it.

Children

Our services are not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
