Feldenkrais Workshop · Koh Phangan, Thailand

Discovering Ease

A 3-day somatic workshop using the Feldenkrais Method to rewire your nervous system and discover ease in your body. We move slowly, slow enough to feel what you are actually doing, not what you think you should be doing.

February 2027 · Sri Thanu, Koh Phangan
Exact dates will be announced soon.

Awareness Through Movement group class, people exploring movement lying on the floor

What if the limitation isn’t in your body?

Most of us are navigating these times with bodies that are chronically braced. Tension so familiar we forget it wasn’t always there. Pain that migrates but never fully leaves. A sense of living a few inches above the body rather than fully in it.

Every pattern of holding, every compensation, every place you brace is a map wired into your nervous system. You cannot stretch it away or think it into release. But your nervous system can learn a new way, when it is given the right conditions.

This workshop uses the Feldenkrais Method and the principles of neuroplasticity to create those conditions: gentle, guided movement explorations that help you sense more clearly, let go of habitual patterns and discover ease you didn’t know was available.

What you’ll experience

Each session is a guided movement exploration, done lying on the floor. Gentle, slow and entirely at your own pace. There is no model to imitate and no “correct” way to do it.

  • How chronic tension and pain can soften through awareness, not effort.
  • More ease and freedom in movement: more fluid, more integrated.
  • Deeper, fuller breathing that happens without trying.
  • Posture and balance that come from the inside out.
  • More mobility in your joints and spine.
  • What it feels like when your nervous system finds new options.

You’ll receive audio recordings of the sessions, so you can keep exploring at your own pace after the workshop.

This is for you if

  • You carry chronic tension, pain or stiffness, and sense there is a deeper pattern underneath.
  • You are an athlete, dancer, musician or movement practitioner who wants to refine how you move and prevent injury.
  • You sit for long hours and feel stiff, compressed or disconnected from your body.
  • You are on a spiritual path and want to ground your practice in the felt sense of being here, in your body.
  • You are drawn to practices that work with your body’s intelligence rather than forcing it.

No prior experience with the Feldenkrais Method is needed.

About the Feldenkrais Method

The Feldenkrais Method is a somatic education approach developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, a physicist and judo expert, in the 1940s. It works with neuroplasticity, the brain’s capacity to form new pathways throughout life, using gentle, exploratory movement to change habitual patterns in the nervous system.

For more than 75 years it has been used around the world for chronic pain, movement limitations, neurological conditions and to refine performance. Research supports its effects on mobility, pain, coordination and balance.
