Feldenkrais Functional Integration is a movement coaching modality and holistic bodywork focusing on learning to live and move with ease.

From our first meeting, we begin to explore behavioral, postural, and movement patterns that underlie your bodily discomforts and learn new and more efficient ones. By integrating these new ways, you will learn to sense self and embody graceful movement without unnecessary tension.

You will lie or sit fully clothed while I gently move or verbally invite you to explore your functional body movements that feel right and in harmony.

Through integrated skeletal support and connection to your environment, you may improve coordination and flexibility, increase the range and ease of motion, and discover the possibility of coherent self-organization.

As how you move through space is correlated to how you move through life, this unique sensory-motor learning process will often enhance your thinking, emotional state, and capacity to manage stressors that can lead to a less compromised quality of life.

Who is this for?

Whether you have chronic low back pain every morning, your shoulder is hurting; an old yoga injury has returned; or you may be recovering from surgery – the Feldenkrais Functional Integration session can support you from pain to ease.

Those whose profession relies on their quality of movement (dancers, athletes, actors, musicians, movement artists, etc.) usually find these sessions as a fine-tuning tool for their activities.

Somatic Learning
Develop a Deeper, Integrated Sense of Self

Through the Feldenkrais sessions, you will learn to listen more and more deeply to yourself from the inside. This process trains you to find effortless movement that is the most authentic to you and your biological design rather than what the trends and authorities suggest.

FI sessions facilitate developing awareness of your skeleton, joints, and muscles to reveal new possibilities for pain-free movement.
